TERMS & CONDITIONS:
INGROUND POOLS: Pools will be closed while full by our teams using specific equipment designed for this purpose. The water level in the pool will not be lowered, and under no circumstances should the water level be lowered either before or after the closing.
ABOVE-GROUND POOLS: The water level will be lowered 6 inches below the skimmer, and under no circumstances should the water level be raised again after the closing.
INCLUDED SERVICES:

Draining and blowing out equipment and piping

Chemical kit and antifreeze

Installation of the customer’s closing kit (plugs / gizzmo / skimmer plate)
EXCLUDED SERVICES:

Disconnection of the pump’s electrical cable (in the absence of a wall socket)

Pool cleaning (To facilitate spring opening, we recommend closing the pool clean and performing the cleaning before our team’s visit.)

Installation or removal of a cover or leaf net
-
Inspection, cleaning, or repair of equipment (No service visit is possible during closing.)

Cleaning of the salt cell
BEFORE WINTERIZATION:

FILTRATION: It must run 24/7 as soon as nighttime temperatures become cold.

YOUR SUBMERSIBLE PUMP (SUMP PUMP): You must install it in your sump pit and keep it running until the first lasting snowfalls and ground frost. Your sump pit must remain completely empty at all times, and your pool water level must be at or above the middle of your skimmer.

YOUR HEATER / HEAT PUMP: If you no longer wish to heat your pool, simply turn off your unit by switching it to OFF. It is important to keep water circulation inside to prevent freezing before winterization.

WINTERIZATION MATERIAL: Prepare and place the required equipment next to the filter before the technician arrives so they can proceed with winterization. If you are missing certain items, our technicians will replace them, and the invoice will be adjusted accordingly.
⚠️ IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOUR SUMP PIT IS ACCESSIBLE AND EMPTY UPON OUR TEAM’S ARRIVAL.
SERVICE SCHEDULING:

You will receive, in the coming weeks, the closing date and the invoice by email.

Only one date will be proposed: you may choose to confirm it or cancel your request.

Closings are scheduled by sector to optimize our technicians’ schedules.

Our teams operate Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
YOUR PRESENCE IS NOT REQUIRED, PLEASE:

Leave access to the pool and filtration unlocked

Ensure that the breakers for your filtration system are turned off just before our team’s visit

Provide access to a working electrical outlet to plug in our winterization equipment

Leave the pool closing equipment next to the filter (any missing material will be billed)
-
If you have already installed your leaf net, please remove it before our team’s visit
Our teams will leave the equipment to be stored indoors for the winter next to your filter.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
If our teams are unable to perform your closing (sump pit, pool, or equipment inaccessible, cover or leaf net not removed), additional fees of $100 will apply for a new visit.
